Meet our Occupational Therapy Assistant: Taylah Watts
Taylah Watts
Taylah grew up in rural Mildura and has always had a passion for helping people achieve their goals in the form of rehabilitation, ultimately leading her to the costal move to study a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Currently in her final year of OT, Taylah is one of the Therapy Assistants working at Geelong Neuro Centre. Whilst studying, Taylah has worked as a disability support worker predominantly in the Geelong region to empower individuals to maximise their quality and enjoyment of life within the community.
Taylah is highly driven to make a positive impact on an individual’s life and is passionate about working with clients with complex injuries such as spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries and strokes, increasing their independence and achieving their goals and hopes to pursue this once graduated.
Outside of work you will find Taylah outdoors usually running, or walking her beloved Frenchie, ‘Sass’. On weekends she loves adventuring along the coast and spending time with friends and family.
