Occupational Therapist

Bec has over 12 years of occupational therapy experience, commencing her career at Austin Health in stroke rehab, igniting her interest in neurological conditions. Since then Bec has worked in a variety of settings in Melbourne and Geelong in the area of neurological care including, acute, inpatient and community rehabilitation and complex disability organisations. Living in London and working for the NHS for two and a half years in all areas of the neuro continuum of care in acute, inpatient and community rehab, ingrained her love and knowledge for working with neurological conditions.

Bec’s specialties are working with clients with stroke, cerebral palsy, MS and Parkinson’s disease, and acquired brain injury. She enjoys the challenges working with clients with upper limb rehab goals and complex equipment requirements and loves working towards the client’s goals both with the client and family and within a multidisciplinary team.

Outside of work, Bec lives on the surfcoast and spends her time at the beach and camping with her family.
