What inspired you to pursue your career?
I always wanted to follow a “healthcare” related career, with the hope of working with other people and helping them in some capacity. In my final year of schooling my great grandma had a stroke. We visited her in hospital at the same time an occupational therapist was completing a visit/assessment. I loved watching the interaction and found everything the OT was doing super interesting. It was like a little lightbulb moment and I made the decision to pursue OT.

What do you love most about your role?
Getting to work with a wide range of people and seeing small changes make the biggest difference to the way they live their lives.

What is your favourite piece of therapy equipment at GNC, and why?
I don’t think I have a favourite! I find e-stim really fascinating and also using any everyday items that clients can apply in their day to day life

What is a memorable moment from your time at GNC?
No big moments that spring to mind. Just love all of the little client wins along the way and getting to be a part of a fun and creative team

If you could instantly master any new skill, what would it be?
Playing an instrument.
