What support will you receive?

At the Geelong Neuro Centre, you are part of fun, supportive and motivating environment. We ensure you are supported through:

Team culture is an essential part of the Geelong Neuro Centre. We meet regularly as a multidisciplinary team to brainstorm business ideas, obtain feedback, discuss important issues, develop our skills and celebrate successes.

Therapists meet with their clinical mentor weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on individual needs. We work together to establish clinical and personal goals and make sure we achieve these goals. Within mentoring sessions we check in on your health and wellbeing and develop your clinical skills.

Shadowing team members and completing joint sessions is encouraged to help develop your clinical skills.

Our unique clinic environment provides great opportunities for co treatment with other therapists as another way to develop your skills. The clinic is highly motivating and its guaranteed you will finish your day inspired by other clinicians and clients.

We facilitate weekly group mentoring sessions. These are facilitated by your team and are a great way to learn from each other, develop our skills and solve those tricky client issues.

The Geelong Neuro Centre uses a team messaging system to share clinical resources, ask clinical questions, communicate key information and work as a team to support each other as we understand that working in the community can be challenging.

We are continually inspired and motivated to improve our clinical practice. We regularly facilitate personal development sessions targeted towards the entire team in collaboration with external providers and leaders in the neurological and trauma world.

When you start with the Geelong Neuro Centre we present you with an induction Checklist. Over the coming weeks we will work together to complete each task to ensure your start with the Geelong Neuro Centre is smooth and exciting.
