The Geelong Neuro Centre is a multidisciplinary team, providing a comprehensive suite of services to support clients across the Geelong, Greater Geelong and Western District Region. Our therapy service provides an opportunity for clients to undergo specialised assessment, rehabilitation and therapy (within a purpose built rehabilitation facilities) to achieve their highest potential and work towards their goals.

Whilst our Geelong location is predominantly a neurological case load, our Drysdale and Torquay locations see a range of Metabolic, Cardiac, Musculoskeletal and Neurological clients, allowing the right applicant early in their career to gain experience across a range of clientele, whilst being supported the entire way.

What does the role involve:
As an Exercise Physiologist, you will work alongside a creative, supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team consisting of Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Osteopathy, Myotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, providing therapy in the clinic, with your own dedicated treatment room and purpose built gym/rehab centres.
Common conditions we treat at the Bellarine Sports Medicine centre are T2DM, Musculoskeletal injuries, Metabolic conditions, Women’s health, Cardiorespiratory conditions and a range of Neurological conditions. We have the capacity to service clients from kids to the elderly and we will work with you to ensure your caseload is tailored to your strengths and your overall development.
We understand that there is a lot to learn when starting a new role. To help you start, we have a structured induction program. We will identify your professional and personal goals and we will work together supporting you every step of the way.

- At our sister clinics you get to work with exciting and motivating rehabilitation technologies including our world class rehabilitation equipment. This includes pilates reformers, motomed, gait retraining walking aids, tilt tables and standing frames, neurological rehabilitation specific equipment, virtual reality headset, commercial gym equipment and Functional Electrical Stimulation devices.
- You are a part of a very strong, supportive and committed team and you get to learn from other health professionals within the team. We have an excellent mentoring program providing structured 1:1 weekly mentoring as well as group mentoring to allow us to develop our skills together, including an early career training program. Each month we have an entire team in-house professional development session, whilst also providing each team members with financial support for external professional development.
- We work with you to determine your personal goals and ensure we develop an action plan that we review regularly to achieve these goals. We have many career progression opportunities including student and team mentoring, stream leaders, leadership opportunities and opportunities for clinic ownership.
